Room for a person needing minimum learning support

360 GBP

I have a room for a person who needs support to move on to supported independent living.  The person must be active and working with the supported employment agencies for work experience, volunteering, college or some other form of activity for at least 4-5 days each week.  I offer support and advice to keep your room clean, eating healthily and good hygiene.  Included in the cost of the rent is an evening meal.  All other meals would be provided by yourself. The only exception would be when I take a break and go away then an arrangement would have to be agreed upon.  The room would be for a maximum of 5 years by that time you would have gained sufficient skills to move on.  The property is within a horticultural setting with a small field where a vegetable patch provides skills for people who need support to learn skills in this area.  The project runs from April through to the end of September.  Also the garden provides supported work experience one day each week for those people interested in horticulture.  An 'open garden day' takes place each year where those people that contribute towards the maintenance of the garden can talk about what they do in the garden to the public.  This is strictly a no smoking house and garden.  Only non-smokers apply.  Please email me for further details.  I will be happy to arrange a visit for you to come and view the room and gardens and chat over a cup of tea.  My regards Linda;
