I preferred a 350 when 500s were available abundantly for the same price due to the fact that insurance&petrol was cheap and I am not comfortable riding over 60 MPH on a bike. (180 pounds fully comp incl legal cover and personal accident for a 24 year old is cheap). Hence why I have named it Mangalyaan which is the indian probe orbiting mars. The project was a success because it only costed 1/10 compared to NASA's mars mission.
Comes with original full fenders like that of bullets in India, not the horrible looking semi circle ones. Also comes with imported indian crash guards. This is a cast iron model engine which is sought after because of the classic thump. Although the older engines had problems (leaks etc), by 2008 all the problems were eliminated by royal enfield before the new UCE engine came out. The bike also comes with all the accessories pictured including all the receipts and the invoice from the original showroom purchase. Also included is full service history including what the elderly previous owner from somerset did to it in his garage(all recorded in a spreadsheet, quite extensive).
MOT till April2017. This is a well looked after bike and the MOT history available online (wwwDOTcheck-motDOTserviceDOTgovDOTuk) says that it has only failed MOT once due to horn not working in 2011. The previous MOT had an advisory of slight play at rear wheel.
