I am a fully qualified (PGCE) Science teacher with a specialism in chemistry as well as biology.
I have an MSc in Plant biotechnology and a BSc in Biochemistry Currently I teach at an FE College, and am an Advanced Practitioner (which essentially means I help train other teachers to be better teachers). The quality of my work has been noted by exam boards and as such now work for two boards, in monitoring the standard of coursework at other colleges. Suffice to say I am good at what I do. I am starting a private tuition class, which will be run from my home initially, and so means I can keep costs down. For students up to GCSE, I will be charging £20 per person per hour and initially up to 4 people in one class. For A level Chemistry, £25 per person per hour, up to 4 initially in a class.
