Silver Jubilee Stationery Set In Tin. Unused. 1977 Queen Elizabeth II Commemoration. Good Condition

12 GBP

Genuine 1977 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Commemorative Spicers Stationery Set in Tin with Hinged Lid. Unused.
Inside the lid it states: A Souvenir Edition of Writing Paper and Envelopes Made in England by Spicers Limited, Sawston, Cambridge.
The size of the tin is approximately: 23 cm x 17.5 cm x 5.5 cm.
Most of these tins are now empty so to have one complete with all its original contents is becoming increasingly rare. This item is therefore highly collectable.
The original complete set of unused cream, quality writing paper and envelopes are in very good as new condition given their age. The decorative paper wrappers around the envelopes are slightly creased as they have been stored under the writing paper.
The tin is in incredibly good condition - there are just a few small scratches to the paintwork on the front left corner and side and the odd small rust mark on the outside edge of the lid. All this is to be expected given its age.
Please study the photographs provided to make your own assessment regarding the condition of this item, which is from a pet and smoke free home.
This is a private sale. The stationery set was purchased new in 1977 and has remained within my family since then. I am only selling this as I need more space.
I would prefer the buyer to collect, and pay cash on collection please. However, if essential, I would be willing to post the tin to a location within the United Kingdom, at the buyer's own risk, for an additional £7.25. In this situation I would make every reasonable effort to pack the tin carefully so as to help ensure its safety. Regret no returns accepted. Thank.
