Hello, my name is Sophie Pullen and I'm a classical soprano based in East Sussex available for singing lessons. Whether you are looking to improve your technique, work towards grades, apply to conservatoires or just want to sing for fun, I want to make improving your voice an enjoyable and relaxed experience! I studied at Birmingham Conservatoire, Birkbeck University and Morley College and now have a busy schedule as a freelance soprano. I teach in Cooden Beach and can travel within a reasonable distance to teach at your home if needed. I am enthusiastic, supportive & patient and enjoy working with people of any age and ability. If you are looking for a teacher for children my approach is for fun, relaxed learning with an emphasis on communication and building confidence through enjoyment. A bit more about me: As a full time professional soprano I have sung with many orchestras, opera companies and choral societies around the UK and abroad including The Orchestra of St John's, Brighton Early Music Festival, Clapham Opera Festival, The Royal Opera House, Hampstead Garden Opera, Barefoot Opera and Bexhill, Billingshurst, Warwick&Kenilworth, Benson and Ludlow Choral Societies. I specialise in the bel canto repertoire and recent roles include Musetta, Adina, Atalanta and Erste Dame. I learn with Laura Sarti in Lewes.
