Small plinth to slightly raise computer monitor

10 GBP

I had this small plinth custom made for me by a local furniture maker (Goodwood Cellars, at The Quay, Exeter) to slightly raise my trusty old 17" Xerox flat-screen computer monitor, and it served its purpose well - but early this year I upgraded to a new, larger monitor, which needed to be raised rather more for the most ergonomic working. I thus had a new plinth made, and so this one is redundant. Dimensions: W just over 35cm x D 25.3cm x H 7.4cm (external); internal height 5.5cm. Material: Solid pine, with all upward / outward edges and corners rounded off to make it more harmonious in one's living space. Although this is a sturdy item, its upper surface is showing two slight splits between particular wood sections. This does not affect its strength for its designed purpose, and is a result of differential wood shrinkage after manufacture. I had the plinth made so that I could save space by housing the odd small external drives underneath the raised monitor - with a couple of cut-outs in the rear to allow for cables to serve those devices. Please note that this item is for personal collection only (Exeter, UK), with up-front full CASH.
