I'm selling my Old surround system as I have to decorate front room and my Mrs doesn't want the speakers back up on the wall. I've gone and bought a sound bar, it's OK but you can't beat a true surround system with at least 5 speakers,so i'm going to miss that. The surround amp can handle Dolby digital and DTS. The receiver can handle fm and mw frequencies. The remote control is a learning remote and can learn the functions of your other equipment. There is cabling on the speakers, enough for our front room which is 12 by 10 ft. It is still a good system, unless you've got an enormous front room where you can appreciate 7.1 sound, and Dolby Atmos etc etc, this system is enough. The speakers can handle higher frequencies, so if you have a sacd or dvd audio player, the speakers can handle them. If your on a tight budget and you want surround sound on the cheap, consider this system. ;
