Here we have a wonderful example of two stunning amethyst geodes originating from the same one piece (identical twins), both of which have been with us in our family for years but have now reluctantly become available for sale as a result of downsizing.
These impressive pieces have stood the test of time well and remain in an exceptional condition considering the many hundreds of thousands if not millions of years that they have been around.
Standing at around 4ft tall they make a bold and impressive statement in both size, stature and beauty. From the outside rear and sides there is that natural beauty of something very ancient and rugged, then move to the inner belly of the geodes and you're memorised by lustrous deep purple of the thousands of individual amethyst gems.
