Support Worker/Driver (Access to Work) (Self employed) Bexhill (approx. 24 hours per week) Are you empathic and friendly? Are you a careful and confident driver, with good writing skills and able to assist with lifting and carrying equipment? Could you provide support services to a Rehabilitation Officer who works with visually impaired veterans across the South East? You'll be self employed with your own car (business car insurance required), able to work approximately 24 hours per week (some flexibility needed) in Bexhill and available to drive the Rehabilitation Officer to home visits and attend meetings (this may include occasional overnight stays). In addition, under guidance from the Rehabilitation Officer, you'll assist in delivering and setting up equipment for service users. You'll also assist the Rehabilitation Officer with computer based tasks and completing forms. Experience of working with people with a visual impairment or other disabilities would be an advantage, however training can be provided. If successful, you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. For more information, please contact Bryan on 07387 140595 07387 1405...(click to reveal full phone) .
