Brief History of The Ancient Ram Inn; The Ancient Ram Inn is one of England`s most notorious haunted houses, the building has some of the most darkest and scariest reports of hauntings and paranormal activity. The building is centuries old, uneven in appearance and has decaying darkened windows. This venue has been investigated by Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters International. Reported hauntings and paranormal activity at The Ancient Ram Inn; The owners claim that there is a dark energy that haunts this inn, at first they found the activity alarming but have since become used to the daily experiences that they are subjected to. Knocking on windows, screams from the basement and doors slamming shut are all part of the daily occurrences. Murder, satanism and child sacrifice are just some of the light-hearted activities supposed to have taken place in this ramshackle building, dating from the 12th century and reportedly built on a pagan burial ground. Its inexplicably freezing temperatures and evil atmosphere have had even hardended ghostbusters quaking in their boots.
