Bill Copland leads a relaxed and informal presentation about the extraordinary short life of Burns, including recitations, demonstration and explanation of the traditions of the Burns' suppers. He will explain why Burns' means so much to Scots exploring some of the Scots language used and the subject matter of Burns' varied works.
Bill speaks many times each year at Burns' Suppers from small private gatherings to Grand Military Events as well as on Radio Berkshire at this time of year. He also plays the bagpipes with the Reading Scottish Pipe Band and is currently leading a project to recruit and develop a junior band.
