A great family car, based on the Toyota Yaris (same engine, chassis, etc - just body is different) and so gives great fuel consumption (approx 40mpg), is v.cheap to tax (£12pm) and insurance is also cheap (class 8).
Lots of boot space and rear seats fold completely for occasions you have to move larger items.
Looks great too, always get comments and lots of heads turning to check it out. Always present at JDM shows too.

The rear seats fold completely turning it into a mini-van so would be great local delivery "van" - add a few company logo stickers and it would be very effective marketing at the same time due to the number of heads it turns itself. In fact can make up to £200pm just on your daily commute if you sign up for with an advertising company (e.g. car-vertise, comm-motion, money4space, streetcarads, etc).
This is a much newer unit (2005) than the 2000 models being sold and is as stock as you will find - so lots potential to soup up to your preference (search images of 'Scion xB' which is the american model for inspiration). Although personally would keep it as is.
As factory standard it has Air conditioning, electric windows, electric mirrors, folding mirrors, remote central locking, Airbags, Cup holders, Centre arm rest, lots of slots/hidden compartments for storage.
Genuine 68k miles, 12 months MOT, recently serviced with genuine toyota parts (yaris bits) e.g. new spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, engine oil and brand new battery, etc.
All inspections and test drives.
