Registered new in September of 1978 by Crown Motors of North Point, Hong Kong, the vehicle was bought new by an English gent working there on contract. It spent the first year of its life in and around HK and the New Territories. A year later it was time to move back to the UK and the LiteAce was shipped from HK to Piraeus in Greece in July that year. This led to an exciting 6 week tour of Europe which included Yugoslavia, Albania, Austria onto Vienna following the Danube to Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, France then onto the UK... and there it stayed with the same owner for the next 37 years until May last year... after much soul searching the gentleman in question decided it was time to let her go to pastures new. Amazingly it was only ever used privately throughout its entire life being affectionately known within the family as 'Latisha'. It was used for family holidays (back into Europe a few times), days out and light family duties. Its an ultra rare time warp survivor complete with original keys, jack/tools, manuals and a box of irreplaceable spare parts as well as workshop repair publications. The vehicle itself uses the common Toyota K series engine of the day via a four speed column shift. The van has travelled a mere 86000kms in its life (approx. 53000 miles) it starts and performs perfectly with a super sweet 1.3 engine and an exceptionally smooth gear change via its column shift. Cosmetically its been beautifully maintained and has been undersealed and wax oiled to great effect. An ultra rare time warp survivor and believed to be unique in the UK. A charming vehicle to own and cherish for personal or promotional.
