Who am I? My name is Leanne, I have a BA(Honours degree in Early Years education and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) with qualified teaching status (QTS) to teach Primary aged children. I have taught children from reception to year 6 and children with Special educational needs. Throughout my career I have experienced Ofsted inspections and received an outstanding grade for the quality of my teaching and progression of my class. I have worked in various schools within the London and Essex regions and have always been commended on my individual style of teaching and thus fantastic results with my classes. As well as being the founder and Head Tutor of 'The Essex Learning Club' I work as a supply teacher within local schools to continue my passion for teaching and keeping abreast of new changes to the curriculum. My services I have tutored children to get them through the year 1 phonics tests and both year two and year six SATS and have had fantastic results! The subjects in which I provide tuition for are:- *Maths *English *Phonics (Intensive booster sessions offered for this) *11 + (Intensive booster sessions offered for this) Getting started During the initial session with your child I will assess them with up to date proven resources to identify any gaps in their learning for your chosen subject English/Maths and then I will create a program of study which the sessions will be built around. As an educator, I aim to make learning memorable and engaging. My main aim is for all children to succeed and continue to aim high and this is what I build into each tailor made session.
