Turntable Music presents Said The Maiden with support from Helen Sanderson-White

11 GBP

Turntable Music is pleased to present our very first concert featuring rising folk stars, Said The Maiden! Winners of the Bristol Music Festival's prestigious Isambard Folk Award 2015 and voted "Best Act" of the Great British Folk Festival 2015's Introducing Stage, Said The Maiden sing traditional songs from around the UK and America, often in three part acapella harmony but also using guitar, violin, mandolin, woodwind, accordion and percussion to embellish their sound. The St Albans trio have garnered praise from the likes of Clannad and Mike Harding, and Strangeworld have hailed them as one of the best support acts they have ever had. Said The Maiden will be supported by Turntable Music's very own Helen Sanderson-White, a talented singer-songwriter of five studio albums, pianist and purveyor of beautiful, crafted, thought provoking music. Helen’s songs are not afraid to ask some difficult questions, while delivering memorable vocal and instrumental hooks. At Turntable Music our mission is to ensure that each event is intimate and relaxed, feeling like the artists are performing a private concert for you in your own living room. Come along to the beautiful setting of Chalfont St Peter and help us to celebrate our first concert in the Buckinghamshire series with a mug of something cosy and a performance you will never forget.  Tickets: £13 in advance from http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/EELKDE or £15 on the door (limited).
