Camshaft and followers replaced, full ACT silicone hose induction kit, K and N filter, carbon inlet trumpets, adjustable fuel regulator. Rose linked front and rear anti roll bars, braided brake hoses, Gaz adjustable shocks fitted and springs replaced. Beige leather interior with red piping. 12 CD multi changer in boot. I have owned this car for 8 years and is only for sale because I have bought a Tuscan 4 litre Speed Six. I am an ex motor mechanic and when I was looking for the Chimaera 500, I looked at and inspected quite a few up and down the country before I found this excellent example which I have maintained during my ownership. It has the handbook/service book stamped up to my ownership. There are a number of bills and receipts. The big ones being the engine and suspension work. It can be insured on a very inexpensive classic insurance policy. I always warm engine up carefully, the chassis is oil sprayed every six months so is in very good condition. As for it's faults there is slight cracking of the walnut dash and it has recently stopped showing the miles although the speedo is fine. It did have a new speedo at 38,005 miles and the current MOT shows 18,719 miles so it has done a total of about 57,000. This car has been in regular use in the 8 years that I have owned and has proved to be very reliable. It drives beautifully (better than my Tuscan if I'm honest). And the performance is not that much different to the Tuscan ! It has not been used for track day's. This is the second Chimaera I have owned, the previous one being a 400. They are great cars, and are a good investment as values are increasing, are loads of fun and, sound fantastic ! It will be sold with 12 months MOT. As you will have noticed, the front has been re-styled to give it some of the looks of a Tuscan. It has an ageless and perhaps interesting number plate, which is included in the sale.
