Two lovely rooms available in a friendly North Laines houseshare, just a five-minute walk from Brighton Station. Sadly, two of our current housemates will be moving out and we are looking for friendly, tidy, opened minded people to fill either a spacious double room or a slightly smaller, but equally lovely single room.
The house itself is well furnished, warm and nicely decorated. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful outdoor garden terrace; ideal for summer BBQs. The rooms themselves are both located at the top of the house. The single room is bright and spacious, with wooden floorboards and a good view of the garden below. It includes a comfortable bed and mattress, clothes rack (which the current tenant would be happy to sell on), and large work desk. This room will be available from December 3rd. The double room looks out onto the bustling Trafalgar Street, and is light with plenty of space. The room comes with a pine kingsize bed frame (with 4 drawers) complete with a memory foam mattress, a wooden clothing storage unit, an inbuilt closet, a small bedside chest of drawers, a larger black and white chest of drawers and clothes rail (these last two items will be happily sold onto the next tenant). This room will be available from January 3rd. For the small room rent is currently £420 pm, and the double room is £500pcm. This includes use of the kitchen, fridge, bathroom, washing machine, living room and TV and outdoor garden terrace. Bills come to around £64 with council tax and internet being paid monthly, and gas, electric and water every few months.
The deposit will be £700 and agency fees and references will be required.
