Hades and Persephone have been designed by ‘Liveaboards’ and lovingly restored by Artisans. Coined as the ‘His and Her boats’ (or Her and Hers, His and His), they fit together perfectly on the outside, yet retain their very separate personalities on the inside.
Hades' (the boat) interior, naturally, is dark and solid. Comfort and socialising is the theme here, with the kitchen, lounge and dining area covering most of the space. The shower and toilet doors close across to create a non cramped feel. The spare bedroom is self contained with two bunks, plenty of storage and a sink. Attention to materials has been given throughout from the solid oak flooring to the black leather settee and stainless steel shower tray.
Persephone's interior in contrast is light and airy. Honey oak, pine and maple throughout she feels contemporary and intelligent. At thirty feet in length over three quarters is given over to the open plan double bedroom and library. The remaining quarter is a walk in dressing room. Built in safely behind the woodburning stove, clothes are kept clean and damp free no matter the weather.
At 72 feet in total length the pair can go into a lock together and find a mooring easily.
