VECTRIX ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE 2008 WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES For sale is my Vectrix VX1. It has 21885 miles on the clock, I was using it daily for commuting. I'm selling this because I have retired, it has been well looked after and has had the factory software upgrades and Lithium batteries installed (these batteries cost me £4000) undertaken by Emissions free Solutions who are based in Rutland, the same company have serviced the bike as well. The tax is free for this bike but is not transferable, it has a full years MOT as of May 2016. The batteries ( Lithium) have recently been serviced and have a 3 months warranty as of 12.05.16 and the range is approx 45 to 55 miles (dependant on how it is ridden), it has regenerative braking when the twist throttle is reversed. ( this also acts as a reverse gear when the bike is stationary) The software update makes the range much more accurate as well as giving it a 68mph top speed. It has 2 fairly new tyres fitted. It takes about 2.5 hours to do a full charge, but sometimes they do a conditioning charge which takes longer however, charging is all automatic and computer controlled so you just plug it in overnight and let the bike worry about what to do. It charges with a standard 13 amp household plug which is kept under the seat. The charger is integral on the bike so you can charge it wherever you can find a household 13 amp socket. The bike has a big lockable storage area under the seat which can fit a helmet and other stuff. There's also a lockable cubby hole in the front which needs replacing (new one supplied with bike)
