I have for sale a Vintage 50's/60's Zyn 18" Medium/Thin Crash/Ride Cymbal made in England by Premier.
It is in good condition and sounds great for its age, with no cracks or keyholing, however it does have a few small dents, and nicks on the outer edge, also some small stick marks and scratches, which you would expect on a cymbal of this age. Slight wear on the centre hole but no keyholing. Still sounds great and plays really well!
It did have the wording; Steve Newman 20' Percussion Plus;? £900 ($1,200). I have done some research and don't believe a signature series with this name was ever produced by Zyn and that it has been personalised in the past. This can be easily removed and has faded badly from cleaning.
I have tried to highlight the dents/nicks/scratches/marks etc but the pictures have not shown these very well, due to many of them being quite fine and the reflection. Please contact me if you need any more info on the condition, as this cymbal is very old and NOT perfect.
