Here we have an increasingly rare model 800 Terada classical guitar whose overall condition is very good for a guitar that is over 40 years old. It has a couple of small blemishes on the soundboard and some slight discolouration on the back. I have seen this model described as having solid top, back and sides but cannot vouch for this. However, Terada are one of Japan's oldest producers of guitars and are known for the high quality of their instruments (including the production of high end guitars for Gretsch). This guitar has a lovely tone, having mellowed over the years, and would easily hold its own against higher priced modern equivalents. The top is either cedar or well matured spruce; I am unsure about the back and sides but they may be a lighter coloured rosewood.;
