VOLUNTEERS and new members welcome for fun STROKE SURVIVORS039 GROUP

Do you like spending time with people? Do you like talking with people? Do you have good communication skills? Do you have two hours free per week? Could you volunteer to help stroke survivors? We are a friendly group that meets at Thornhill Baptist Church (2 - 4PM) every Tuesday in term time for two activities, fun, workshops and chat. Communication can be effected when you have had a Stroke and Volunteers are needed to assist stroke survivors in gentle communication, chatting and understanding. We have a timetable of activities including carpet bowls, music therapy, exercise, quizzes etc. We also play games, have a raffle and enjoy a cup of tea. If you have had a stroke and would like to join our friendly group, why not come along and see what we do. Carers, friends and family more than welcome. If you are interested, please get in touch with ANDREA COLLINS (Group's Treasurer) 07929
