This van has a totally unique conversion built by myself, i designed the build around a family van whilst still maintaining the cool sleek VW look. It is insulated throughout and lined with a beige veltrim, not many around like this. Full curtain set all around and a large curtain separating the cockpit from the back of the van. The van has plenty of space and storage even once the bed is made up. The bed takes seconds to put in place, and you still have plenty of space to access the cupboard, fridge, cook and even use the toilet. There is U shaped seating to the rear of the van to comfortably seat a family, whether you are on a day out, or away on holiday, the bed cushions are made from memory foam, very comfy. The units have been constructed with a intentional rustic look from Birch ply, and have been finished with danish oil and varnished. there is a brand new Smev cooker and sink unit which has only been used once, this cost over £350 recently, also comes with hot and cold mixer tap, although i haven't yet fitted this. There is a 12v Vending machine built into the unit with blue led lights inside that come on at the flick of a switch for show use, you can also put a small bottle of milk in here along with other items like butter, sausages etc. The roof is fitted with 12v Led spotlights and a 12v colour changing led strip around the middle, comes with remote control. Although the tv is not included in this sale, there is a extending swivel wall bracket ready to attach your own. A seating box adjacent to the vender holds a porta potti in case of emergency's (toilet and box can be removed). Up front there are 2 Porsche tan leather tombstone sports seats with built in headrest speakers, the door cards have been sprayed beige and black with skateboard wheel window winders. The rear view mirror has been replaced with a lcd screen to give you a view from the back end via a rear view camera, this can be turned on and off via a switch on the dash. There is a cb radio up front so that you can keep in contact with your fellow V dubbers whilst on convoy. All power was taken from a leisure battery which was stored under the seating area (not included in the sale) and sometimes a suitcase generator (also not included). Sony CD player with mp3 and Bluetooth wired through to speakers in the roof at the back of the van.
The van is mechanically sound with 151k on the clock, this is nothing for these engines. It has a full service history and has wanted for nothing throughout its life. The cam belt has been done and i have a receipt to prove along with a lot of others and the previous mots dating back to 50k miles. The glow plugs have recently been changed along with the fuel filter and starter motor. It will come with a full MOT.
outside the van has Audi style led headlights and led tail lights. There is a beige bonnet bra to match the interior design. Heko wind deflectors on each window, two side windows and barn doors to the rear... all rear windows are tinted in limo black. It is rolling on 18" BBS alloy wheels with shotgun wheel nut covers, the van is lowered all round.
the only bad point to the van is the exterior, to finish this van off it could benefit from the bodywork touching up and a respray of your choice, My plan was to get it sprayed in white and candy apple red, but new plans led me elsewhere... hence the sale.
all in all this van is an all rounder, its totally unique, not your usual rock and roll bed type which takes up all of your room once the bed is pulled out, it has been designed to maintain the room, and the space to store whatever you need and save you time whilst setting up beds. You can get 2 adults and a child in the rear bed, and an older child on a bunk over the front seats, also a camping cot on the floor if need be.
This is a very reluctant sale and im sure many of you will appreciate the time, effort, money and not to mention love that has been put into this van. The only reason i am letting her go is because we have a little baby girl due at anytime and the van will only be sat around for the next year or so, i know i will regret it but id rather it be put to use than being sat around doing nothing so i have decided to build another once the time comes.
I have probably forgot a lot of things on the ad, please bare in mind that when coming to view there may be a few niggly things that i have forgot to mention, also there will be a few extra goodies on the van which i have forgotten to list aswell.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. No time wasters or dreamers and please dont make me silly offers as i am not desperate for the money. Whoever buys this van will not be disappointed, its a unique VW ready to go to shows, and can also be used for family trips away :)
