This is a lovely solid oak dining set, comprising of a Windsor pedestal dining table, that appears as circular, but extends by clever clips, and hidden extender, to seat more people. It was purchased in 2010 from Volkins in Eastbourne, which is a stylish and up market family, furniture store. The set consists of four lovely solid oak chairs, with a neutral yellow and beige check design seat, and was Stain Guarded, with a five year guarantee. The dining set has been in a second home and never used! It has only been set up and simply left, so the chairs are immaculate and so, too, the table. Its cleaver extension means that it can be circular or oval and as the former it sits four and as the latter six! It is possible to order more chairs from Volkins, should the need be for six. Its dimensions are: 42'' in diameter or 106.5cm as circular and as oval it is 58'' or 147 cm. It is light oak, with a lovely patina and is solid, not veneered anywhere, unlike cheap sets.
