The Yamaha YZF-R1 took the world by storm when launched. This 2004 model continued to set the pace, both in terms of performance, handling and styling. The R1 soon gained legendary status which it maintains to this day. This bike was purchased in 2006 by its last owner. It's been well cared for during this time. The R1 engine is as strong as they come, so as you'd expect is still sounding good. It is fitted with twin carbon exhausts with removable baffles and a carbon hugger. Additionally it is fitted with the rear cowl, though the pillion pad is included with the bike. The tyres are in good shape with plenty of life left. For peace of mind it is fitted with twin R+G frame protectors, fork protectors and paddock stand bobbins as well as a double bubble tinted screen for better wind protection. As with all our bikes it is of course HPI clear and will be fully prepared by our workshop prior to collection.
