The fuel pipes have been modified to enable the option to connect to a large external petrol tank so it could run all night if required, this can be achieved by use the 3-way changeover fuel tap which has been fitted.
In excellent condition, but being sold as 'Spares OR Repair'.
2010 Model which I have owned from new. It was purchased to power my house if we had a power cut....which it did just fine. Has only been used for maybe 30 - 40 hours in total, but is now sadly being sold for 'Spares OR Repairs' due to the automatic throttle control now not working, it did but then the revs went really high, would not come down and now it wont rev up, to my knowledge this is the ONLY FAULT – everything else works perfectly. The generator starts and runs, produces mains electricity as normal – but the throttle only runs at tickover. I have dismantled some of the casing to see if anything had broken – there is nothing broken, I can increase the engine revs manually using my fingers which then will produce it's full watts output, but at tickover the watts available is only low. It can be used 'AS IS' if you fix the throttle at a set position to produce the watts you require.
I have been on some American websites where parts are available (No parts seem to be available in the UK that I can find) and have some information which could be the answer to the problem. It seems that the Boliy (BOLYJ07.4) Engine Speed Controller eBay item number: 382005415926 is at fault, this is available on ebay at less than £105 including postage, but I do not have the time or the interest in trying to complete this repair myself - I am sure this could be a easy repair for someone with the know how and time.
