This is a very attractive realistic leaf design dish by Copeland, which is probably more than 100 years old. The design most likely comes from the Majolica designs of the earlier part of the 19th century, but is a more practical version which can be used for bonbons etc and cleaned easily. Although when examined very closely micro-crazing is visible, the glaze is still very smooth and glossy, so this does not affect the surface. There are a few small chips in places, but they have to be looked for except for one on the underside which is about 10mm x 5mm, visible on the photo. Buyer collects, or I can double box pack and post it for £2.85 at current.
