KAWASAKI KE 125 1984 MoT039d, Low Miles, Great cond, Rare bike

10 GBP

MORE PICS COMING SOON

I am selling my classic 1984 KE125, I have owned her for a couple of months as a road bike for the occasional ride to work and after servicing her with new gaskets & oil and a general wash and polish and then not riding I have decided to sell her on. I have owned many two strokes and have been considering a vespa or something different than a 2 stroke trail bike, as much as I enjoy the KE, I would rather she was used properly rather than sitting in my shed.

She is a 1984, B reg KE125, two stroke trail bike, which featured the rotary power valve (the predecessor to the reed valve) with 12,000 miles on the clock.

Now one of the last 4 remaining on the roads in the UK!

Decent paintwork for 31 years old, the tank has had a respray at some point but looks nice, there is one small ding but hardly noticeable. Nearly all stock, in fact, I'm stretched to find something aftermarket on it, she even has the same side stand which has been welded multiple times so could do with replacing. Original tool kit bag on the back mudguard, tyres very good, brakes reasonable for drums, I have changed the front sprocket to a 13 tooth over the stock 14 for a bit more torque and acceleration over top speed but still have the stock sprocket which I will put back on as I haven't had a chance to test the 13tooth yet. New battery before I bought her. Starts and runs nicely.

I am asking £1000 Ono for the KE due to the low mileage and good condition for her age which I think is a fair price for this rarer piece of two stroke history. I would recommend viewing the bike as with any older bike, I am based in Eastbourne but will have to work around my work.
