upstairs rooms. In excellent condition a fabulous high quality, strong, clean, fire escape ladder, which we purchased a few years ago because of our children's bedrooms in the loft extension. This is a MUST for any parent worried about their children being trapped in a fire & could save lives!!! It is extremely sturdy as the semi-rigid construction reduces risk of swaying which enables a safe & speedy descent. The frame, rungs & rods have been statically tested to hold a max weight of 1000lbs (453.6kg). It's max length is 25feet (7.6) Metres. It is made from zinc plated steel tubing & is fully adjustable to fit securely to the window frame. Luckily it was never used & remains in it's original compact box (Approx 33cm by 40cm). Knowing it was there gave me huge peace of mind. It has it's original easy to follow step-by-step fully detailed illustrated instructions which have never been removed.
